Some of our favourite gluten free suppliers
Whether it's gluten free ingredients or baking equipment, we source products for new product testing in our Bee Shack kitchen and to serve in our Bee Shack cafe. We'd like to share some of our favourites with you. You can also find more supplier information in our Honeybuns Gluten free Baking book Frequently Asked Questions.
We have checked that, at the time of writing, the suppliers suggested could certify that the ingredients they supply are gluten free and dairy free if appropriate. However, certifications from some suppliers may change. We therefore recommend obtaining your own certifications if you are gluten or dairy intolerant. The same applies to suppliers mentioned here or elsewhere on our website.
Sevenhills Wholefoods supply direct from their farm in Kent. They work with farmers around the globe, sourcing natural products such as Cacao butter, coconut sugar and grass powder. They refine anything as close to the source as possible which means local communities can flourish, improving the lives of their farmers and families. Certified organic and vegan.
Carob Savvy call themselves the Carob Connoisseurs and not without reason. They grow their carob fruit, which has been carefully selected and grown for sweetness, on a family-run farm of over 6,000 premium trees. It's the only one of its kind in existence. They use sustainable farming methods and dedicated only to high-quality, organic carobs. The carob is also naturally dried in the only nut-free and gluten-free carob processing facility in existence. We've used their carob syrup and powder in our NPD.
