The Bee Shack
The Bee Shack is our own little cafe. It is very rustic & used to be a chicken hut. With the help of our friends & family, we have decorated this humble venue with bunting and lots of honeybuns photos, memorabilia and some of the awards we have won. The Bee Shack is a hard working little building. When not in cafe mode, we use it as our team room, meeting room and new product development kitchen. Our Bee Shack Cafe opening times are 11am - 5pm on the first Saturday of every month We serve Fairtrade drinks including coffees, hot chocolate & teas as well as our own cakes. If you phone a week ahead you can be sure that your favourite cakes will be in stock. If we have enough notice we can pop your cakes aside for you to collect. We sell a mixture of fresh cakes and frozen ones. If you buy frozen stock from us you can pop it straight in your home freezer. It's a good idea to bing a cool bag or box. We do lots of sampling of cakes on Bee Shack days, so there is plenty of opportunity to taste the more unusual things we do. If you pick up a Bee Shack loyalty card you can collect stamps and receive your 5th cake free. NB: lunches are no longer available in the Bee Shack, although we will be serving pieces of our savoury BumbleO and other nibbles. Please note: we do not have any matching furniture nor cups or saucers - The Bee Shack follows our "make do and mend philosophy" with lots of the furniture being recycled. Our Bee Shack is homely and down to earth .... if you're after "posh" this might not be the right venue for you. Woolly jumpers, lively toddlers and laid back outlooks all welcome. Feel free to stay all day - you can even bring your own CDs & we'll happily play them for you.
