HONEYBUNS WELCOMES FRENCH STUDENTS

Honeybuns Bakery at Holwell welcomed 43 French students and six staff from the Lycee Maurice Genevoux, Bressuire Deux Sevres last week. The party was led by Noelle Rouault and accompanied by translator John Pleasance. The group of business studies students aged 18-20 are training to become personal assistants in small to medium sized companies and were enjoying visits to local enterprises as well as to some of the best known historic features in the county.

The previous day the group had visited Sothwell Business Park, Portland and taken the opportunity to see Portland Castle while on the island and had ended their day at Weymouth College.

Their visit to Honeybuns started with a resume of Honeybuns aims to use natural and, where possible, local ingredients before being shown how just one of their popular lines, Congo Bars, were made before touring the premises. Judy Nash.
