Honeybuns, the Holwell-based bakers found fame recently when their bakewell shortbread was sent to fuel the stars of Band Aid. In November, the bakery's new Coppice Cake (chocolate, hazelnut and cranberries) also won an award from Foods Matter magazine. Along with another new line, Snowy Hills, Coppice Cake is completely gluten free. As of next year, the team will be running one-day courses in making a selection of gluten free goodies. The day will include a morning in the bakery, a hearty lunch of local food and a demonstration and talk. There will also be lovely goody bags to take away. The first is on 4th June 2005.
