BAKERY RAISING CHARITY DOUGH

A cancer charity will get the icing on the cake after a bakery decided to donate profits from one of its new products.

Honeybuns bakery, which is run by Emma Goss-Custard, is giving CancerCare Dorset 10 per cent of the profits from the Dorset
Apricot Butterjack to help provide free nursing care to people in their own homes in the country.

Emma moved her business to Dorset after four years in Surrey to take advantage of all the natural products the county has to offer, such as local butter and eggs.

This Saturday the bakery is holding a party to celebrate moving into its new premises in Holwell, near Sherborne,
and on Monday April 21, it will be launching the butterjack, which will feature the Dorchester-based charity's logo on its label.
