WHAT LOCAL PEOPLE LOVE TO EAT: EMMA GOSS-CUSTARD

 

Emma runs Honeybuns with her husband Matt. Although the business was originally built on indulgent yummy sweet treats, she is proud of her new savoury addition to the range - The BumbleO. This is a farinata base topped with Denhay chedder, local onion chutney, stilton and tomatoes. Emma says it is just like a Mediterranean Welsh Rarebit. She would serve this with a peppery rocket salad from Cannings Court with local honey from Alweston PO, lemon and balsamic dressing, as well as slow roasted veggies - red peppers, sweet potato, red onions - cut into wedges and slow roasted with cracked black pepper and seceral slugs of olive oil.

For pudding she would choose a high days and holidays triffle made with Honeybuns award winning Coppice Cakes used as the sponge fingers. Indulgent, delicious and completely local!
