TASTES OF THE WEST AT OLYMPIA

Dorset cakes and crisps are among the mouth-watering produce representing the South West at the Speciality and Fine Food Fair at Olympia next month.

Honeybuns of Holwell – makers of cakes and biscuits – are among the new producers who will be in the Taste of the West pavilion at the London event on September 7 to 9.

“The Taste of the West area at the show is always inundated with inquiries about new products as buyers recognise the quality of food produced in the South West,” said Diane Lethbridge, chief executive of Taste of the West.

Olives Et Al of Sturminster Newton, Beaminster based ham and sausages producer Dorset County Foods, The Old Hemp Store of Bridport – with jams, chutneys, mustards and Jack and Ollie crisps – House of Dorchester chocolates and Yeovil’s Sauces for Courses products will be among the flavours of the region at the exhibition.
