FOOD FESTIVAL DRAWS THE CROWD Fine weather brought out the crowds to the second Leigh Food festival raising funds for the new village hall. There was the opportunity to sample and buy the very best of locally sourced food, wine, cider and accompaniments. The hall was packed throughout the day. Among those taking part were Brid Fish, Chococo, Glenda and Steve Cheleda Honey, Parkers Menu, Honeybuns, Fudges Bakery, Sherbourne Castle Wine, Reads Coffee, Sauces of Choice, Longmans Cheese and Dorset Blue Vinney. In Grey’s field, the site for the new village hall, there was a display of classical and vintage cars, vans and motorbikes.
