Despite appalling weather, Holwell’s annual village party, the Honeybun’s Bee Hop still managed to gather plenty of a buzz on Saturday. Die-hard “hoppers” stuck it out in wellies and waterproofs to be rewarded with a diverse range of music from bagpipes and drums to vintage ska, all washed down with some fabulous food and drink.

Kids had the best fun, splashing in the mud and getting messy with the funky junk competition.
