AVAILABLE AT JOHN LEWIS
CAFES
|
We're over the moon that our little minis
have now been listed by the John Lewis
A Place to Eat Cafes.
Please call us for details of your nearest
John Lewis Cafe.
You can now feel virtuous and indulge
in a mini Honeybuns or be a bit naughty
and try 2 different flavours! After a
session of thorough retail therapy I find I can easily justify a couple of cheeky
minis.
At Honeybuns we try really hard to stick to one mini a day .... we usually reach
for the second at around 3 pm.
TASTE
OF DORSET AWARDS |
We were bowled over to be awarded
"The most Inspirational
Dorset Food Business" at this
year's Taste of Dorset Awards. Thank
you so much to everybody who
nominated us - we had no idea that
we had been shortlisted and it was a
genuine and delightful suprise for
everyone here at Team Honeybuns.
The beautiful, hand painted awards
plate has pride of place in our Bee
Shack Cafe. Thank you, Thank you,
Thank you to our uber talented and
professional team. |

Charlotte, our very own
BeeGreen Crusader, recently appeared in our local Blackmore Vale
Magazine.
She was interviewed for the "Eco
Watch" pages and Charlotte talked about our future BeeGreen
programme for 2009.
Plans are afoot to build a polytunnel
to grow butterfly and bumble bee friendly flowers in. We will
then be on a mission to plant the plugs out in time for the Spring.
Our aim is to increase the numbers of bees back to Naish Farm.
We have been encouraged by our local Dorset Beekeeper's
Association and we will be visiting their apiary for tips. We could even start
producing our own honey!

We've upped
our intake of cod liver oil and
invested in some new trainers. Our
collection of aching, vintage bones are just
about rested enough for another
physical onslaught ...hmmm...
Honeybuns are supporting The Grizzly in
March next year- a gurt, dirty, 20 mile allterrainer
in Seaton, Devon.
We were just going to hand out cakes at the
end, but we now appear to have entered it in
a moment of online madness...

incredibly hardcore but fun too: www.axevalleyrunners.org.uk/races/grizzly.htm |
Ben has settled right
into life at Naish Farm and regularly runs across country with Honey and Em. |
We tried doing a little
bit of fostering for
Somerset and Dorset Animal Rescue.
This is a great sounding scheme. be able to
offer a safe, secure and loving home for a dog.
The timescale is usually 2-4 weeks.
The snag in this glorious plan is that we
couldn't bear to part with our "foster" dog -
especially when his name is Benjamin
and he looks like the above!
If you are interested in providing a foster or
permament home then do not hesitate to
contact Liz at Somerset and Dorset Animal
