Beat the Recession Blues and Snuggle up with a Tinker

Triple Chocolate Tinker Cookies from Honeybuns

Our Triple Chocolate Tinker cookies proved a sensational hit at Glastonbury this year. "We couldn't keep up with orders for them in our little festival cafe and sold out by day two", says Emma, Honeybuns’ founder. The Tinkers are full to bursting with milk and intensely dark chocolate plus a cheeky dash of Espresso. They truly hit the spot. The Honeybuns team enjoy their Tinkers with giant Emma Bridgewater mugs of Builders Best Tea! Chewy and intensely chocolatey, these cheeky little gluten free cookies are now available.
Please call the bakery on 01963 23597 for more info.

Our Current bun

Our current favourite bun is...
The Heathcliffe Brownie. This beauty is made with toasted ground almonds, chunky toasted almond pieces, butter, a little sugar, beautiful hand zested orange (oh-so-superior to mechanically zested) and lots of intensely dark chocolate (70% cocoa solids). Henry Dimbleby of Leon Restaurants recently described it in the Sunday Times Magazine as "The Best Brownie in the World". We'll not argue with that. It's beautiful either as an afternoon cakey treat or warmed in the microwave for 30 secs and accompanied with a cheeky dollopette of creme fraiche.

Bee Green Top Story

It's all go on the BeeGreen front, asides from Matt and Em coming home from Glastonbury having won the Silver Green Trader award at the Festival - how proud are we?! Our laid hedge is now fully bloomed and looking healthy. We've created a butterfly meadow: we experimented with leaving an acre of grassland and hedgerows as set aside. The result being a beautiful meadow teaming with Meadow Browns, Ringlet butterflies and bees.

TIP TOP TEAM

We are incredibly lucky to have a multi talented team here at Honeybuns. We are just 20 team members strong and between us we do the baking, product development, packing, design and seamstressing... plus our BeeGreen work and running our Bee Shack Cafe.Phew! Chris Antell and her sewing genius. It's time for a Triple Chocolate Tinker, a diggerbucket of tea and a sit down. Chris makes all of our bunting and tablecloths when she is not busy packing our cakes...!
