HONEYBUNS' NEWSLETTER FOR TRADE VIP'S
JUNE 2011

Let your customers try before they buy

We have found having our own Bee Shack Cafe here at Naish Farm an invaluable way to find out about being a retailer and a Honeybuns stockist. It's also the perfect place to try out our new display ideas and then share that with our retail customers. We've also found our Bee Shack customers love to have a nibble of all our different cakes and savoury tarts before they buy - it really helps sales. So we've come up with a range of super sweet Honeybuns sampling packs for you to do your own in-store tasting sessions. We have a variety of packs to suit your individual requirements, and they include a nibble tray, melamine plate and one of our oh-so-pretty Snowy Hills t-towels, which we can send to you free of charge. These have worked an utter treat in the Bee Shack Cafe! Vicky, our super Sales lady, would be more than delighted to send you a sampling pack. For more information please email thebee@honeybuns.co.uk or give us a bell on 01963 23597.

Cute and clever!

Our faaabulous new point of sale blackboard clips have arrived! These gorgeous little clips have a blackboard for you to write your own message, and a magnetic clip on the back! So handy! You can use it to clip our cake care cards onto the fridge for handy reference, or use the blackboard to write your own message like 'Delicious gluten free cakes', for your Honeybuns display! If you would like one of these lovely little clips sent to you, along with any of our other point of sale, including our retro Honeybuns tins, cardboard display boxes or window stickers (all free of charge), just give us a ring on 01963 23597 or email us at thebee@honeybuns.co.uk

Lunch!

Lunch! show is fast approcahing. Our Honeybuns stand number is F609, so please do come and see Emma and Vicky for some samples and a chat. We'd love to see old and new customers alike. On from 29 - 30 September, this award-winning dedicated trade event for the food-to-go market is at Old Billingsgate, London. With live demonstrations, seminars, competitions and a vibrant exhibition floor, it is a must-attend for anyone serving the lunchtime community. Put it in your diaries now!

We've just returned from our seventh year at Glastonbury Festival. Despite the sporadic downpours, our home-from-home Honeybuns Cafe dished out revitalising digger-buckets of tea and sweet Honeybuns pick-me-up's. With its proper china, cushions and chairs, pictures on the wall and fresh flowers it always proves a popular sanctuary at the Festival.

Camping weekends at Naish Farm

Our aim is to offer a gold plated Honeybuns service to ALL our customers, no matter how large or small. As from October, Emma and Vicky, our dedicated sales team, will be out on the road visiting lots of our lovely retail customers, so look out for them soon.

Next summer we will be offering a selection of camping weekends, and we will be inviting our trade and retail customers to come and join us. These special weekends will include a tour around our bakery and nature reserve, and ample testing of our Honeybuns goodies, after which you can stay on and camp here overnight in one of our meadows. We'll be advertising these weekends nearer the time, so watch out for them as spaces will be limited. If you would like to camp and have a real Dorset experience, we highly recommend hiring a Dorset bell tent for your visit from Honeybells Tent Hire (they've recently supplied tents for Lily  Allen's wedding!)

The Bees Knees

In our next edition we will be starting a regular Honeybuns stockist feature. No matter if you're large or small, independent or part of a chain, if you would like to be featured in our Nibbler or Bee newsletters, we would like to hear from you! Please email lottie@honeybuns.co.uk for your chance to appear here.

We will also soon be launching our Bee's Knees competition. We will be asking our customers to email us with suggestions of their favourite retailer, and the retailer who gets the most recommendations will get some fantastic Honeybuns trade offer goodies!
