typo controversy

Hallooo,
I apologise to the two upset people who submitted cross e-mails ref my last blog. I’m not quite sure why they were upset. I can only guess it is because of my awful spelling- I called my last blog a ‘wildlife bonanza’ & spelt it wrong-it could be wrong now- but not to worry.
My blog is always full of grammatical errors & typos- This blog really is just for fun. If you get upset with my obsession with bird life etc- please do stop reading as you’ll only get crosser-

Had a goodish week last week. The elderly equines all had a veterinary check over & we need to keep an eye on doddery old Rosie- she is our 30 year old pony & she suffers from Cushions disease (spelling??) this means she cannot get proper nutrition from the food she ingests but she always has a ravenous apetite. At the mo, she has a good quality of life but we’ll need to review her before next winter. It is a progressive disease & is beginning to catch up with her- her digestive tract is filling up with fluid , distending her tummy. She looks quite pot bellied but is not in any discomfort.
Today she’s out munching grass & is very relaxed.
Sam & Joan are also uber veterans & thankfully do not suffer from any such diseases. They’ve really enjoyed the milder weather this week & still out there gobbling the Spring grass.

Honeybuns wise- we’ve been busy with orders. Things tend to pick up order wise in the run up to Easter. We’re working on new product ideas at the mo including our childrens’ range for 2008. The downside of this forward planning is that our year zips by all too quickly. It is a shame in a way to be thinking about next Spring..
Next week will be taken up with preparations for the Bee Hop music festival & getting sorted for our Bumbleo Launch party on 19th April. There is a lot of artwork to finalise for invitations, flyers & posters etc. It should all be ready to go to the printers next week which will be a relief.

Matt & I will try & find our Bongo camper van in time for Glastonbury this year. Last time we went, with our Honeybuns cafe in 2005, our tent got washed away-unfortunately we were right in the middle of the now infamous electrical storm which struck the jazz stage opposite us! We reckon the van will be a safer bet.

Wishing you a great weekend,
Em x
