Easter Bunnies

Hallooo,
I hope everyone has got some sunshine this morning. It looks lovley out of my blogging window at the moment- loads of garden birds flitting about, gathering up nesting materials. We’ve got birds nesting in the thatch which is apparently a bad thing for the thatch-we’ll leave them to get on with it this year & see if we can encourage them to use a nest box for 2008!
Matt & I are off to see my dad today up in Humberston, near Cleethorpes. We gave dad a lurcher, Banjo , a couple of years ago for his 70th Birthday & they are inseperable. We’re taking Honey with us so we’re hoping we can maximise the time we get on the beach to take them running.Honey & Banjo love each other so it’ll be great to reunite them.
On Thursday we are off up & across to Lancashire to see a wholesale customer. We’re taking Honey with us to meet them- she is afterall the Honeybuns mascot!
This morning I’ve been packing for this road trip. We’ve got flasks of tea, Honey’s blankets, running shoes, business meeting notes & I just need to remember the cakes!
Cath at Honeybuns is looking after the house & animals with the help of other Honeybun team members. If the weather is good, the horses can stay outside for most of the time. It is just their morning & evening feeds that need doing.
Workwise, orders have been steadily increasing as we would expect for this time of year. After Easter we are going to have a massive push on the savoury BumbleO & our new sweet baby trays. I think we’re all in need of a bit of a rest & recharge of batteries over Easter though! Work has been quite intense at times-particularly with the build up to going over to Tokyo & the exhibition there. Fun as it was- it was also knackering.
On the 19th April we have a double whammy to negotiate: our BumbleO launch party in the evening & a Sainsburys technical visit in the afternoon. We are working on both of these projects at the moment & we’re kind of quietly confident that they’ll go smoothly!
Wishing you a very happy Easter!
