Wanderer’s return

Hallo everyone,
This week has gotten off to a rapid paced start.Everything seems to be happening all at once! We’ve decided to forge ahead & launch our first all organic product- it’ll be an organic version of our scrumdilleyumptious cookie. We’ve tended to be a bit hesitant about going ‘all out’ uber organic. Many of our smaller suppliers are local to us & produce fabulous ingredients- they’re just not certified organic. We want to continue sourcing from them. By just launching one product, (with possibly more to follow) we hope to still be able to produce our original favourites whilst keeping our old suppliers. It’ll be tough getting the organic & non organic segregation in place but once sorted, we think we’ll be onto a winner. Our new packaging is looking tres alluring too. The first redesigned cakeboard is for our cranberry & pecan flapjack & bears the ‘Properly Made in Dorsety’ tag- made by us, by hand from scratch on our farm in Dorset- luscious! We’ve redesigned the first 8 cakeboards with just 5 to go- it’ll take a little time to run down the stocks of the new ones but we’ll get there. Our Honeybuns discussion group is now live. The Heathcliffe brownie seems to be attracting quite a lot of interest-
I’m off to visit a customer in London tomorrow & I’m hoping to be able to find some thick woollen over the knee socks/stockings whilst I’m in the vicinity of any shops- we’re quite cut off from anywhere here in Holwell. I love my cheap- as- chips pink flip flops & now the weather has cooled I can’t bear the thought of regular shoes & I definitely can’t do tights. My thoughts ran to nice beaten up old clogs with snuggly thick socks- not as restrictive as shoes & I’ll be hidden behing a desk so any sartorial eccentricity will be hidden from office visitors-.anyway I hope to find my clogs & woollens tomorrow-
Hope everyone has a lovely week & speak soon,
Em x
