Busy Bees
Hallo,
Most important news to report is that Ollie our rescue German Shepherd pup is progressing really well-.most of the time. For cheese cubes he’ll do pretty much anything-like sit, Down, Wait & stuff. We’ve had some wonderful walks across the fields & met lots of dogs for him to try his macho posturing out on. Thankfully, the dogs round here are no nonsense working labradors & retrievers who pop him right back in his rightful bottom rung place.
As I speak he is flaked out on the low slung sofa covered in sheepskins-exactly where our beloved Diesy used to lie.Honey & Peg have gotten a lot more used to him & are soooo tolerant of this young upstart.
Nature is budding & plumptious all around Naish Farm & the bakery. Our nest box fitted with camera is yet to have a full on resident nesting couple but we’re quietly hopeful. It’s like Blue Tit Hilton in aforementioned box & it would be quite gutting if the birds turned their beaks up at it.
Business wise we’ve been receiving lots of enquiries about our up & coming mail order website which wil be ready this September- barring any hissy fits on the design side of things. It’ll be ace to be able to provide products directly to our end customers.
We’re also getting ready to exhibit at the NEC in early April & this weekend we’re tree planting in te fields around the bakery with the help of the local youth group.
Wishing you a lovely weekend- finges crossed for less hectic weather conditions,
Em xx
