Update from Alice!

Hallo

It’s Alice here again! I hope you are all well and have not been caught in too many of these funny little rainy showers?! Dorset’s decided it’s summer again for now after drenching me earlier.

I’ve certainly had to up the good old exercise schedule this week to hold onto my Bikini’ figure ready for my summer holiday in Cyprus. A bike ride followed by a steamy game of tennis was amazingly fun in the sunshine last night. Obviously only a pre-match warm up prior to taking on Wimbledon!

Today, unbelievably I’m mid-way through my Honeybuns extravaganza.  It’s been a hoot getting up close and personal with the Honeybunny’s themselves. The calm, quiet exterior of Dorset’s converted farm/bakery is ultra deceiving, as it’s interior is a network of planning and perfection. Even the blue tits have been busily making their nest in a tiny hole in the side of one of sheds.

Everyone here is going giddy for Glasto, which is creeping ever so slowly upon us! Em’s had her design cap on and plans to rock the festival in her stunningly gorgeous apron.  Oh and please check out Em’s blog below to see how you could get a free cake-!  I’m sure you’ll be looking for a sweet treat however hardcore you think you are- maybe a scrumdiddleyumptious?!

Bakery Safari was a mahussive success last Wednesday too. The sun shone and the guides managed to keep all the wild animals at bay.  If you fancy an enthralling Dorsety Safari for two conjoined with a night in delightful Dorset B&B and a slap up pub meal, please visit our competition page for more details.

Marie Curies, Blooming Great Tea Party’ is on the horizon toooo! If you are planning your very own Alice in Wonderland style’ or Tiger Tea Party’ please be sure to contact Honeybuns for a donation of free milk chcocolate brownies.
