Honeybuns & Dorset Cereals

Hallo,

Have you been on the dorset cereals website to win (hopefully) a Honeybuns bag of goodleyness yet? There are some Honeybuns goody bags on there. Please see www.dorsetcereals.co.uk

We’ve been packing in the fun moments this summer.Despite the rain, we’ve been outside as much as possible -the main priority has been getting the Bee Shack garden in order. Charlotte is the most green fingered amongst us & she has been busy planting out climbing roses , honeysuckle & clematic plus lots of butterfly friendly rose shrubs- ‘Sweet Haze’ is particularly beloved of  Bumble Bees. This little garden has the most gorgeous views across to one of the highest oints in Dorset, the wild & woolly Bulbarrow Hill.

Other fun things have been eating together as a team more often. We now get together three times a week to devour delicious luncheons. Our home made Hommity pie with Greek salad is seriously lush. Most of our ingredients for these happy meals are from our award winning alweston Post Office. Sally & Nick have a teensy tiny shop & have filled it to bursting with food from over 60 very local suppliers. You can get anything from deliciously ‘cowwey’ unpasturised cheddar to the uber delicious range of canapes & desserts from Dorset Pastry. We’re truly spoilt.

We’re also looking forward to our annual team sports day taking place next Friday.Games will be apparently laidback but beneath it all-.things will get competetive-.We need to ensure we take plenty of picture snappage.

I’m looking forward to a trip with pals to Bath tomorrow.I’m going to be truffle hunting for beautiful garden archways etc for the Bee Shack garden. We’re on a mission to beautify the garden in time for a September party-..invites will be sent out soon. We’re celebrating our new range of cookies with an evening of food, wine & song. If you’d like to come along do drop us a line. Invites are with our compliments but will be limited.(The Bee Shack is tiny!)

Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend,

Em xx
