Wet, wet, wet!

Hallooo,

I’ve realised I always seem to start off with a mention of the weather- gosh how British! We can’t get away from the fact that it’s been tipping it down here, so much so that we’ve almost needed to paddle our way into the office. Waders anyone?! Despite the wet weather (which has been great for the plants), it’s been a good week. Several of us have been out on the road meeting clients, and pleased to hear that our loyal customer base is continuing to grow. Additionally, we found out today that having exhibited at the NEC food and Drink Trade Fair in March, we’ve been ranked in the top 20 best stands, yay! Ok, enough trumpet blowing!

Right then- Preparations are underway for our upcoming events in May and June. On the 5th May we are celebrating May Day with activities including Traditional Spring Wreath and Lucky Spring Charm making, suitable for all ages, with fiddle playing to entertain you. Who knows whether it’ll rain or shine, so come prepared either way! As always it’s a family friendly day out, with the added bonus of lots of crafty activities and live music. Samantha from the Cabin Fever Crew will be our Fiddler on the day- find out more about her and the crew at www.cabinfevercrew.co.uk

Bee Shack May Day Festivities

Charlotte has been a busy bee doing all the millions of things she does so brilliantly, some of which are detailed in her Bee Green Blog. Read it to find out more – better still come and see us all at Naish Farm on May 5th.

Just look at these cuties- Not ours I’m afraid, but the newest team members alongside our great friend Beverley at Muddy Dogs. The very talented Beverley designs and makes beautiful bespoke bags, using vintage textiles and high quality leather and traditional techniques. Take a peek at her website www.muddydogs.com or visit her Barrington Court Workshop.

Our beloved and pampered pooches are pictured here looking a tad dismal as they daydream of  lounging around in the sun- I reckon they’re thinking ahead to Pawfest on June 9th!  Pawfest is the fab family friendly festival held by Somerset and Dorset Animal Rescue to help raise funds for the vital work they do. For tickets and further info see the website www.Pawfest.co.uk or their Facebook Page. Honeybuns are running the tea tent again this year, which we’re really looking forward to. We really really hope to see as many of you there as possible. It’s a great cause, and a great day out. Tickets cost £16, under 11?s go free!

Daydreaming Doggies….. PAW…FEST!

I too am now daydreaming of sunny blue skies, rocking beats, drink in hand and a slice of coppice cake- mmmmmmm Well, I suppose a cup of tea and a squashed coppice second will do perfectly well today

Till next time, take care out there!
