Be a Bee Storytelling Activity Trail at the Bee Shack Cafe

Be a bee poster

Please do join us for a very special Be a Bee’ storytelling activity trail at our next Bee Shack Café open day on Saturday 4th July, at 2.30pm.

This special afternoon is all about children exploring and learning about the wonderful bee’s in our gardens. Led by the knowledgeable Hannah of Green Mash Ed, it includes a magical storytelling trail around the beautiful Bee Shack gardens and nature reserve. The afternoon will be a fun and creative way for little ones to understand bee’s a little more, and each child will create a very special treat to take home and plant for the bee’s in their garden too.

Suitable for under 8’s but big brothers/sisters are welcome too! No booking is necessary but children must be accompanied by an adult.

The Bee Shack café and shop will be open 11am to 4.00pm offering a selection of mouth-watering gluten free cakes, cookies and drinks. Please do feel free to bring a picnic with you to enjoy in our gardens.

Green Mash Ed is a small Dorset-based company offering environmental learning and outdoor play. They run events and sessions for all ages, helping children and families to learn more about wildlife, the natural world and the environment through fun, hands-on activities.
