2018 looks set to be an exciting year for us here at Honeybuns!
Not only are we celebrating 20 years of Honeybuns, but we are also publishing our second cook book, Honeybuns All Day Cook Book’, and have launched two new gluten free cakes and four new vegan traybakes for trade.
Bespoke traybakes
It’s already been a busy first few months of 2018, we’ve launched four gorgeous new vegan traybakes exclusively for one of our wholesalers, Bidfood. We hope you find these out and about in a café near you! Our brand new Peanut Blondie is now stocked in John Lewis cafes as well as a range of our Classic cakes including the Milk Chocolate Brownie and Snowy Hills, in new narrow sizes.

Our two brand new gluten free cakes; the Hazelnut, Dark Chocolate and Cranberry cake and Peanut Blondie will be available in our online shop shortly, adding to our gorgeous Classic Range of free from cakes. New cookbook
As some of you may already know, we’ve been working hard on our second cookbook for a while now and the end is finally in sight! The Honeybuns All Day Cook Book’ is at the final stages of editing and is soon off to the printers, which we are all very excited about! As we are self publishing, the process has been a little slower than our last book, Honeybuns Gluten-Free Baking‘ however we are sure that you’ll love it just as much! It’s full of delicious free from sweet and savoury recipes, to take you from breakfast to supper, with a festival stop along the way! Honeybuns 20th Birthday
If you follow us on social media, you will already now that 2018 marks Honeybuns 20th Birthday. Essentially Honeybuns has gone from a kitchen table start up to a sustainable rural artisan business proudly supplying some of the most innovative and beloved names in food such as Waitrose and John Lewis. Whilst of course facing challenges along the way, we now produce a carefully curated product range of gluten free, dairy free and vegan cakes. We were one of the first businesses of our kind to have an online shop and we have ultimately succeeded in evolving in a digital era amongst stiff competition from a plethora of start up free-from cake manufacturers. But most importantly, we deliver innovation at the same time as staying true to our founding principles of quality, kindness and sustainability.
