Commercial supply and ‘Free From’ baking
We’re the go-to specialists in ‘free from’ baking. The main bulk of Honeybuns business is commercial supply. Recently we’ve also been developing bespoke projects for some of the largest foodservice suppliers in the UK, like these new ‘free from’ traybakes for Bidfood.
We’ve been supplying Brakes for many years with other cakes from our Classic Range, and so were delighted when they approached us to create two new “free from” cakes in traybake format. They had to be as inclusive to as many people as possible whilst still tasting utterly decadent.
There’s nothing we love more than getting busy in the test kitchen. Our aims when creating a product are to achieve amazing flavour, texture and quality. All this is achieved using artisan baking methods. Where a product like a brownie is everywhere, we have to be confident that we add something special to the market.

Chocolate, Pecan and Caramel Slice Traybake

A soft date, nibbed cashew and polenta base, topped with a sweet slightly datey caramel with scattered pecans, and finished with a dark chocolate drizzle topping with sweet orange slices and dark chocolate shavings. Sublime! Registered with the Vegan Society.

Cinder Toffee Brownie Traybake

Gluten free, vegan.
Dark chocolate, coconut milk and light muscovado base with a nice crust on top as a brownie should have. We then drizzle melted dark chocolate in squiggles over the top and scatter with chocolate shavings and sweet cinder toffee pieces. This is an indulgent squidgy chocolate brownie!
