Festive Fruity Nut Bar Florentine

When we made this luxurious gluten free Florentine Slab for our first baking book it was a sure fire hit with the team. There’s something so delicious about the combination of chunky chocolate layer and sweet and chewy nuts and fruit. Which got us thinking, what if we used our Fruity Nut Bars, which come packed with fruits nuts and seeds?

So we tried it and it was delicious! Rich, chewy and decadent.

Gluten free Fruity Nut Bar Florentine

We simply followed the Florentine Slab recipe, substituting the glace cherries, dried cranberries, raisins, mixed candied peel, salt, almonds, whole peanuts, pistachios and sunflower seeds for the same weight (430g) of Fruity Nut Bars (approx. 8 bars). We just crumbled the Fruity Nut Bars up and added them to the bowl of gluten free condensed milk.
