Top food bloggers event in Dorset (guest blog) are a leading UK holiday company based in the South West, with over 2,000 properties dotted across the UK. They recently held a foodie break for food bloggers and we were excited to supply them with boxes of lovely cakes for the event. Here’s what Sarah from their team had to say about the weekend.

Goodie box of gluten free treats

We were super-excited to invite top food bloggers from around the UK to stay in one of our large properties near Blandford Forum, Ranmoor. We realised how important local produce in Dorset is, therefore we wanted to make sure that we gave the bloggers a real taste of the county.

The huge property boasted a swimming pool, hot tub, trampolines, a snooker table, and huge rooms, perfect for catering for a large group of people. They travelled from as far as Kent, London and even Manchester to discover the delectable delights available in Dorset.

We had prepared the property for their arrival with full fridges and wonderfully packed goodies bags which were waiting for them on their beds. It was great to see so many local companies getting involved and we were delighted to be able to include a box of Honeybuns cakes in each goodie bag. There was a lovely array of gluten free cakes in beautifully presented boxes, each blogger had everything from chocolate brownies to caramel shortbread. They were washed down nicely with a cup of Dorset Tea or Dorset Nectar Cider, as the bloggers began to arrive and gather in the kitchen.

The weekend continued with a delicious meal from Dorset Fine Dining on the Friday night, a visit to Goldhill Organic Farm on Saturday, followed by a beautiful afternoon tea laid on by BethellBridge Bakery. Surprisingly everyone found room to enjoy a delicious assortment of pies from the Dorset Pie Company on Saturday night too!

All in all, it was a successful weekend and it was great to have been able to work with honeybuns!
