Hi, I’m Emma and welcome to our artisan bakery.
I started delivering homemade cakes by bicycle in 1998. Back then, it was tricky to find tasty handmade cakes, let alone anything gluten free or vegan. Honeybuns served as a little foodie haven for those seeking delicious gluten free treats. To this day our Dorset bakery remains entirely gluten free and customer delight is at the heart of everything we do.

It seems a lifetime ago that I was balancing cakes on chairs, the back of the sofa and every available surface in my tiny student kitchen.
This humble start up spirit still burns brightly today. Visitors tell us they are pleasantly surprised by how small and artisan the Honeybuns bakery is. The warm and homely atmosphere is thanks to our wonderful team who share our desire to do business gently and sustainably.
As well as a passion for baking, we love our natural environment here in Dorset. We’ve created a lovely bird, butterfly and insect friendly nature reserve surrounding the bakery.
