	It’s easier to assemble your cakes on your disk before moving them onto your jam jar.
	Some toppings, eg. the raspberry crumb, may need a gentle rub with your fingertips to declump them.
	For a cleaner sliced cake, simply run your knife blade under hot water, dry it and cut your cake straight away.
	To hide the fairy lights battery pack, tape it to the inside of the jam jar lid.
	Any bits of leftover cake will last in a cake tin for 5 days, or frozen for 3 months.
	Why not use spare bits of cake as ice cream toppers or make your own trifle?

	Use edible flowers such as rose petals, nasturtiums, violets which are all food safe. You could even make your own crystallised flowers.
	Create little bunches of rosemary tied with butchers string.
	Spray your stack with a bit of edible glitter.
