Well it is a little less windy here tonight & our thatched roof is still on top of our cottage which is a relief!
Animal wise: they all seem happy. I just popped out to give the equines their tea & they are getting just a little bit fat. No bad thing in the winter months but I’ll need to keep an eye on them when the Spring grass comes through.
The plan is to ease Billy into a little bit of dressage when Spring arrives. Our pal Rodney is due to start on creating a menage or out door arena as soon as the rain holds off. Honebuns gymkhanas are on the horizon!
Peggy is weraing a very cool Vivienne Westwood stylie Doggy T shirt which came from the fantastic ASOS website. She LOVES it.
Workwise: it has been a good & steady day today. Our new point of sale stuff is nearly ready & we’ve been working away solidly at sales with some good results this week.Our savouries are now knocking the socks of our panel of tasters. It has defo been worth doing the research this time round. We are very pleased & excited at launching the large trays to our wholesalers next week. Next week is busytastic. I’m in Devon with Trish on Tuesday, Wednesday is London with Charlotte & Thursday I’m going on my own to Gloucester to meet one of our top wholesalers.Hopefully this hectic up and down dale shennaigans will result in some new orders but we’ll have to wait & see.
Personal stuff: hoping to feel a bit cheerier on the weekend. Terrible news was a shock on Wednesday night & all our thoughts & love are with our friends who this has devastated. I guess life does go on but it is also an immense bummer at times.
