Bongo Camper Crazy

Hallo,
well it’s been a funny little week & something not very nice happened on a personal note on Monday night. All is well now though & it was just one of life’s sad little little turns that we all have to negotiate-it certainly pops business etc into perspective whenever the ‘wheels do fall off’ a bit.
On a happy note, we collected our Mazda Bongo Camper van this afternoon & we’re over the moon with it. We’re going to test camp it this Friday on a posh campsite near Poole with my little bruv Ted & his girlfriend, Sarah. We’re really looking forward to a taste of the open road. This evening I’m going to get all the tupperware plates etc ready-very 1970s, we may even prepare an avocado salad for supper on the Friday with a bottle of chianti or sth.I’m looking forward now to finding a second hand Bongo awning on e-bay for it.We’ve then got a whistle stop tour of the UK & our pals & family planned for the next fortninght & we’re soooo looking forward to having a break. The horrible weather has meant trhat we’ve got a huge lot of hay in ready for the equines this winter- hay is going to be in very short supply because a lot of farmers have been forced to make silage instead cos of all the rain.Very fortunately for us Trish- who works in the office- has sold us 20 large round bales which will see us through til the Spring.
This will be my last blogule for a little while- I hope you all have a very good week & pending weekend,
Em xx
