Brooms at dawn –

With Halloween rapidly approaching, here at Honeybuns we are dusting off our brooms and hats and preparing for the spooky season!  Even Winston is getting into the swing of it – but I’m not sure that his howling all night will stop after the 31st October –  I know his parents certainly hope so!

We are also preparing for our Quiz Night during Dorset Food Week (25th to 29th October).  Lots of lovely local companies have been very kind, donating prizes for the first three winning teams, and nibbles on the night.  Our huge thanks go to Dorset Tea, The Black Farmer, HiHo Silver, Crips Crisps, Dorset Blue Vinney Cheese Company, Dorset Cereals for being so generous.

For those who are starting to feel the festive season creeping up, check out Honeybuns’ website at www.honeybuns.co.uk for wonderful mail-order Christmas gifts.  Our gorgeous gluten-free cakes and cookies are a wonderful present, whether on their own or with an apron, tin or tea-towel.

We are absolutely delighted to have been short-listed for the ‘Excellence in Food Manufacture Awards’ to be held at the Savoy in London in November, and will keep you posted – fingers and toes crossed!

Have a wonderful Halloween and Bonfire Night, and don’t forget to wrap up!  A gently warmed Heathcliffe Brownie with cream is a wonderful warmer-upper after standing around watching fireworks!
