After a little break away- ’tis lovely to be back in the Shire- it now truly, truly feels as if Spring is just around the corner. There are beautiful snowdrop carpets on the verges and our daffs are just about to come out. Yay!
Honeybuns-wise, we’ve been busy on the finalising of the Honeybuns Gluten free baking book. It’s coming out in June this year, thanks to Anova, our publishers www.anovabooks.com I think it’s fair to say we had no idea how involved the final tweaking stages would be. It’ll be worth it in the end though & the proofs do indeed look beautiful. Thank you to everyone here at Honeybuns & Anova for working so hard & for so long on it.

We’re also getting ready for a trade exhibition at the end of March up in Birmingham. I’m thinking lots & lots of daffodils for the stand- bringing a little bit of Dorset to the NEC-.. It’ll be good to catch up with customers new & old & get feedback on our new lines- the Sconeybuns & our new mini chocolate caramel shortbreads. www.foodanddrinkexpo.co.uk During our trip Northwards, Vicky & I will partake in the opportunity to try out new curry houses. Following a little revamp, the Bee Shack reopens this Saturday for the first time in 2012. Graham is painting the final finishing touches as I type. We’ll have music, nibbles, gifts to buy and hopefully a few rays of sunshine sneaking out from behind the clouds.
