Thursday 22nd March

Hallooo,

Well it’s trying to be sunny and spring like outside, indeed there’s loads of activity as we’re settling in lots of new fruit trees and bushes. Apples, pears, plums, peaches, some hazelnuts and walnuts too. Even on dull days we’ve got some indoor flora in the shape of our teapot narcissi – they’re just about to flower! We may abduct them from the office in order to enjoy them in all their glory at this weekend’s trade fair, the Food and Drink Expo at the NEC in Birmingham www.foodanddrinkexpo.co.uk

Teapot Narcissi in the Honeybuns office!

Charlotte and Vicky are in prep mode, packing the truck within an inch of it’s life! Well- better safe than sorry. And the more tasty nibbles we can pack in the better. To meet the demands of the show in addition to usual orders, the bakery team have been working especially hard making a huge variety of different products every day this week. Nina’s been sneaking about the bakery armed with a camera, so check out our facebook page for more photos of our cookies and cakes in production www.facebook.com/HoneybunsBakery You can see more on our YouTube channel: www.youtube.com/HoneybunsBakery

Hope and Greenwood and Honeybuns Easter Prize

Our Easter feast tins, if I do say so myself, make a fab treat for chocaholic friends and family. At £19.99 they might bit a little pricier than a chocolate egg, but you get a gorgeous pistachio green tin packed with chocolate brownies, tinkers and caramel shortbreads- in theory they should last a while- hmm!

Rightio- lots to do to so better dash. Wishing you a lovely weekend (don’t forget the clocks change!)
