Honeybuns fit for the Queen!

Hallo, hallooo-

It’s been another busy fortnight here at Naish Farm, but all good stuff. We’re really pleased with the article on Honeybuns that’s in the latest Jamie Magazine.  We feel it really gets across what i’s like to work here and the importance of really good food to the whole team. We’re so lucky that Charlotte cooks us lunch 3 times a week – though we don’t always get the gorgeous rays of sun to sit in whilst eating them! The article is well worth a look as it includes no less than seven recipes, six of which are for savoury dishes and salads. You see there’s more to Honeybuns than just amazing cakes and cookies!

Now we here at Honeybuns HQ all believe that our scrumptious wares are fit for a King or Queen – so imagine how delighted we were to see our cakes at an actually Royal tea party during the Queen’s visit to South London last week! Food fit for the Queen indeed – check out the photograph (image 2) on the BBC website via this link: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-18079761

Ok, so with one eye on the weather (when haven’t I?!) i’m thinking about summery picnics and BBQ’s. The salad recipe’s in Jamie Magazine make perfect munchy summer food AND- our latest project, Delicious Dorset, lends a hand with some other picnic components (including a hamper!) We’ve teamed up with six other innovative Dorset food and drink producers to create the Delicious Dorset Hamper. It’s available exclusively from The Rural Farm Shop Company in Bere Regis, either from their shop, or available to order by email or phone. See their website for full details www.theruralfarmshopcompany.com We can absolutely say, hand on heart, that all the goodies in the Hamper really are fabulous, and we’re very proud to be working with everyone involved. Thank-you Pink’, Fudges, Dorset Tea, Corfe Castle Brewery, Chococo and Reads Coffee!

Don’t forget it’s Fathers day on June 17th – see our online shop for a Cookie Monter Gift Tin – perfect present for a fussy Father! A selection of 6 cookies come nestled in one of our pistachio coloured tins – which themselves are handy for all that super important Dad stuff (aka rusty nails and elastic bands) that simply can’t be chucked out – I’m thinking of the allsorts drawer’ which gradually began to take over the kitchen during my youth!
