The best gluten free alternatives to Easter eggs 2021
Happy Easter everyone! I’ve been searching out even more obscure hiding places for the annual haul of Easter eggs. The tumble drier is a good bet, ditto the laundry basket – two places my inquisitive sons would never think to look, funnily enough.
I now need to get on with writing the clues for our egg hunt, rather than doing my usual trick of leaving it until Easter morning then stalling for time whilst trying to subtly lay my trail, unseen. The kids humour me and make out they’ve not seen me sneaking about in the old poly tunnel hiding garishly packaged goodies in flower pots.
Simple pleasures are the best eh? This year we need them more than ever and I cannot wait for the holidays to begin.
