We’ve been working hard in the Honeybuns test kitchen developing our range of gluten free cakes. They taste gorgeous as well as offering new vegan, dairy free and refined sugar free options.
We recognize that some days (usually dull, damp and overcast ones) call out for a beautifully buttery, blow the calorie count type of treat. On other days something a little less “full on” indulgent is called for.
We’ve now got both bases covered. Our Classic Range of buttery brownies, flapjacks and slices throw caution to the wind whilst the vegan range aims to be slightly less indulgent but every bit as tasty.
Rather than butter, we’ve opted for refined and unrefined coconut oils. They are quite simply delicious and naturally dairy free. As for sweetness, we’ve opted for a blend of fruit purees and date paste along with unrefined muscovado sugar, ideal for those wanting to avoid refined white sugar. Where possible they are dairy free and vegan too.
