Two gorgeous new cakes join our free-from range

We’ve expanded our range of free-from cakes with the launch of two new oaty flapjacks. They’ve gone through their paces in our bakery test kitchen and now they are available to our trade and wholesale customers.

The Oaty Raspberry Bar is a soft baked oaty flapjack with a raspberry puree stirred through, and finished with a gorgeous white vanilla topping. Gluten free, dairy free, vegan and refined sugar-free. Available in narrow 56g individual slices & 950g traybakes.

Stacked Oaty Coconut Bars with dark chocolate, a Free From Eating Out Award finalist

The Oaty Coconut Bar with Dark Chocolate is a variation of our gorgeous Oaty Coconut Bar. Slow baked with virgin coconut oil, date paste and oats, with dairy free dark chocolate stirred in. Gluten free, dairy free, vegan and made with fruit. Available in narrow 56g individual slices & 950g traybakes.

These two new cakes join the four already launched in the New Generation range (Fruity Nut Bar, Oaty Apricot Bar, Squillionaire, and Oaty Coconut Bar).

Both cakes are registered with the Vegan Society.

Taste and quality are foremost, with flavour in every bite and layer. If we can offer an added ‘free-from’ that’s great, but not at the expense of taste and quality.

According to this article in British Baker, sales of free-from products, including gluten free and dairy free, have risen 36% year on year. We’ve certainly noticed an increasing demand for free-from cakes in our online shop, from trade customers and at trade shows we’ve attended over the last year.
